CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Dubai Schools Games - Chess Championships will be a combination of online and in-person events for age groups - U9, U11, U13, U15 & U17. The qualifiers will be held on Saturday, 05th November on the Lichess platform. The finals will be held in-person on Saturday, 26th November.

Championship Format:The Swiss System tournament format of 7 rounds, with a time control of 3 minutes and an increment of 10 seconds will be used to determine the top 8 players in their respective age group
