Talabat Dubai Schools Games Netball Championships had an amazing turnout for the (Primary) Netball Championships, which ran from October 30 to November 2, 2023. The number of teams reached the maximum number and there was a significant increase from last year's 14 schools to this season's 17 schools, as well as from last year's 350 players to this season's 480 players. This was the second event of the 2023-24 competition season.
The four-day event was hosted by GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail, the venue partner for the Netball Championship. Originally scheduled to take place at GEMS Wellington Academy Silicon Oasis, due to some unforeseen circumstances we have had to relocate to our new venue that definitely delivered and allowed the tournament to go ahead. We are thrilled to be working with Talabat, Al Marai, Go Sport, and Mai Dubai our partners who stepped up and made a big difference in addition to the Talabat Dubai Schools Games team. The event was full of goodies, prizes, and refreshments that made players finish the tournament with a big smile on their faces and enjoy the entire experience. We are thrilled to be working with Pro Physique Sports Services, our technical partner for the third season in a row. They have shared their vast knowledge of the sport with us and have directed the entire event to ensure it proceeds at a better calibre.
