Talabat Dubai Schools Games Football Championships Concludes with Victorious Teams

The Talabat Dubai Schools Games Football Championships have reached a thrilling conclusion, leaving an indelible mark on the school's sporting landscape. Under the patronage of the Dubai Sports Council, the championship, sponsored by talabat, Al marai, Go Sport, and Mai Dubai, was a testament to the exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship displayed by young athletes from across Dubai.

The Technical Partner for the event, the IJF Academy, played a pivotal role in the development of these budding football stars. Al Naser Sports Club, the Venue Partner, provided the perfect backdrop for the culmination of an action-packed tournament.

Girls Football Matches: Day 1 & 2 (15-16 of January 2024)

The opening day witnessed an electrifying showcase of skill and determination from the girls' teams. Sunmarke School emerged as the champions, claiming the 1st Place title, while GEMS Wellington Academy- Silicon Oasis secured 2nd Place, and GEMS Wellington International School took 3rd Place. GEMS Metropole School triumphed as the Plate Winners. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award went to Martina M from Sunmarke School.

On Day 2, GEMS Metropole School dominated, securing 1st Place, with Kent College Dubai claiming 2nd Place, and GEMS Wellington International School securing 3rd Place. GEMS Al Kahleej International School emerged as the Plate Winner, and Sianna W from GEMS Metropole School earned the MVP title.

Boys Football Matches: 17-18 & 22-25 of January 2024

As anticipation mounted for the boys' matches, the championship continued to captivate football enthusiasts. In the U10 category, GEMS Wellington Academy - Silicon Oasis claimed 1st Place, GEMS Wellington International School secured 2nd Place, and Next Generation School took 3rd Place. German International School Dubai emerged as the Plate Winner, with Adam S from GEMS Wellington International School named MVP.

In the U11 category, GEMS Wellington Academy - Al Khail clinched 1st Place, Kings School Al Barsha secured 2nd Place, and Sunmarke School took 3rd Place. GEMS Metropole School claimed the Plate Winner title, and Hamza A from GEMS Wellington Academy - Al Khail earned the MVP award.

The U12 category saw Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou School - Dubai emerge as the champions, with GEMS World Academy securing 2nd Place, and The School of Research Science taking 3rd Place. Arcadia School claimed the Plate Winner title, while Kays M from Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou School - Dubai was named MVP.

In the U13 category, Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou School - T2 secured 1st Place, Al Razi Boys School claimed 2nd Place, and Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou School - T1 took 3rd Place. GEMS Legacy School emerged as the Plate Winner, with Amin B from Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou School - T2 named MVP.

The U14 category witnessed Dubai National School Al Barsha securing 1st Place, GEMS Wellington International School - T1 claiming 2nd Place, and Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou School taking 3rd Place. Al Maaref Private School emerged as the Plate Winner, with Ahmed K from GEMS Wellington International School - T1 earning the MVP title.

In the U15 category, The School of Research Science clinched 1st Place, with Dubai National School Al Barsha securing 2nd Place, and GEMS Wellington Academy - Al Khail taking 3rd Place. GEMS Modern Academy claimed the Plate Winner title, and Zain B from The School of Research Science was named MVP.
