Dubai, February 24, 2024 - After days of intense competition, the Dubai Schools Games Chess Championships reached its climax last 24th of February 2024 at the Dubai Chess & Culture Club. The event, which commenced with qualifiers held on February 10, saw young chess prodigies from schools across Dubai showcasing their strategic prowess on the board.
Many young players were drawn to the championships, which were supported by talabat, Al Marai, Mai Dubai, and Go Sport, and they were eager to show off their skills in the game of kings. With both virtual and physical components, the event catered to the many interests of participants. The preliminaries were held on the popular Lichess platform, and the finals were held at the prestigious Dubai Chess & Culture Club.
In a display of skill and determination, participants battled through the qualifiers to secure their spots in the finals, where the competition only intensified. Each age category witnessed fierce matches, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats throughout the event.
