On 28 October 2025, the prestigious Els Club welcomed a new era in school golf with the Midea Dubai Schools Games Golf Championship. Organised by ESM and supported by The Els Club as the technical partner, this year’s edition marked a monumental leap—from a 9-hole format to a full 18-hole championship. It was a bold move that elevated the challenge, prestige, and excitement of the event, demanding greater stamina, strategy, and precision from every young golfer.

This wasn’t just a change in format—it was a statement of ambition and growth, reflecting the rising standards of youth sports in Dubai.

Elite Participation

This year, 27 schools registered for the championship, with 65 students entering the selection pool. From this group, 48 golfers with the lowest handicaps were selected to compete. All 48 turned up, ready to take on the full 18-hole challenge and make their mark on the fairways of The Els Club.

The competition was fierce, and the performances were nothing short of inspiring. Across both primary and secondary divisions, students demonstrated remarkable composure and skill under pressure.
