The cricket pitch at Vision Cricket was alive with energy on 25–26 November 2025, as the Midea Dubai Schools Games Cricket Championship brought together young athletes for two days of thrilling competition. Organised by ESM and supported by Vision Cricket as the technical partner, the championship showcased not only skill and teamwork but also the growing passion for cricket across Dubai’s schools.

With the support of sponsors Midea, Al Marai, Al Nabooda/Volkswagen, Al Ain Water, and the newest member of the Dubai Schools Games family, Careem, the event became a true celebration of community spirit and sporting excellence.

Participation: Consistency with Commitment

This year’s championship mirrored last season in numbers but surpassed it in intensity:

• Schools Registered: 8 (same as last year)
• Students Registered: 120 (same as last year)
• Attendance: 100% — all 120 athletes competed

Comparison: While participation remained steady, the atmosphere on the field reflected growth in competitiveness and quality. Every student turned up, ensuring the matches were played at full strength and with unmatched enthusiasm.

Championship Results

The battles on the pitch were fierce, with every school striving for glory. After two days of gripping cricket, the champions were crowned:

• 1st Place: The Winchester School – Jebel Ali
• 2nd Place: GEMS Metropole School
• 3rd Place: Cambridge International School – Dubai

The tournament’s standout star was Fathhur Rahman (Cambridge International School – Dubai), whose all-round brilliance earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. His performance was a highlight of the championship, inspiring teammates and opponents alike.
