Held under the patronage of Dubai Sports Council and with the support of the Ministry of Sports, the Midea Dubai Schools Games Swimming Championship, organised by ESM, was successfully held on May 4, 2026 at the world-class Hamdan Sports Complex.

Originally scheduled as a two-day championship, the event concluded after the first day following government guidance prioritising the safety and well-being of all participants, schools, staff, and spectators. Organisers worked closely with relevant authorities to ensure all necessary measures and protocols were followed responsibly.

As part of the wider Dubai Schools Games initiative, the championship brought together talented student-athletes from schools across the UAE, providing them with an exciting platform to compete, showcase their abilities, and experience high-level school sport in a professional environment.

The event was proudly hosted at Hamdan Sports Complex and delivered in partnership with Hamilton Aquatics as the official technical partner. Their expertise and operational support ensured a smooth and successful competition day for all participating schools and swimmers.

The championship was made possible through the continued support of key sponsors and partners, including title sponsor Midea, alongside Almarai, Volkswagen UAE in partnership with Al Nabooda, Careem, C.Live, and Al Ain Water. Their commitment to youth development and school sports played a vital role in creating a memorable championship experience for students, coaches, and families.

Throughout the day, swimmers demonstrated exceptional determination, discipline, and sportsmanship across a range of race categories and age groups. Spectators enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere filled with energy, teamwork, and school spirit, with many athletes delivering impressive performances in the pool.
